During our recent weekend getaway, we found ourselves back at Hotel Iris, nestled away from the hectic city centre, which proved delightful for our family. The free parking was a real bonus, allowing us to park up without a hitch, and the friendly staff made us feel at home right from the start. Our spacious room was a breath of fresh air, featuring comfortable beds and a cozy seating area where my wife and I could unwind after a day of exploring. Though there was no on-site restaurant, the staff kindly coordinated a trip for us to the nearby supermarket for some supplies-an extra touch that really stood out. The continental breakfast was a satisfying start to our mornings, perfect fuel for our little adventures around Newcastle and beyond. All in all, Hotel Iris is not just good value but offers a charming retreat that we'll undoubtedly return to for its rustic comfort and warm hospitality.
